We are delighted to introduce the latest addition to our production capabilities at Plastika Mesojedec. In February, we installed a state-of-the-art printing machine with ten color stations, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the packaging industry.
WATER-BASED INKS: A SUSTAINABLE REVOLUTION
What sets our new machine apart is its unique ability to print using water-based inks. We are proud to be pioneers in Europe, using the 2nd generation of water-based inks from the esteemed manufacturer Sun Chemical. These inks offer numerous advantages, both environmentally and in terms of quality.
- Eco-Friendly: The production of water-based inks results in a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to solvent-based inks. And this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of environmental benefits.
- No Migration: Water-based inks are free from solvents, ensuring that the colour does not migrate to your product.
- Enhanced Aesthetics: Water-based inks produce brighter, more vibrant colors that give a 3D-like effect, making your packaging stand out on the shelves.
High-Tech Features for Precision and Quality
Our new printing machine is also equipped with a separate unit for various types of varnish, allowing us to enhance the visual appeal and protection of your packaging. To ensure precision and quality, the machine boasts four high-resolution cameras for real-time print monitoring, all supported by artificial intelligence for quality control.
Expanding Production Capacity
This remarkable acquisition significantly bolsters our production capacity. The machine offers an astounding 1,500 tons of additional capacity per year, providing us with the flexibility to serve your packaging needs more efficiently.
